It is with a heart full of joy and hope that I welcome you to the official website of the Anglican Church of South Sudan. Here, you will discover the story of a people redeemed by grace and called to be agents of reconciliation and renewal in our beloved nation.
For decades, a God-given vision has burned in our hearts—a vision not only for the spiritual salvation of our people but for the holistic development of a new South Sudan. We dream of a nation healed, united, and thriving in spirit, mind, and body. Today, by God’s mercy, we have entered a new season. In 2022, we celebrated a monumental answer to prayer: our recognition as an independent Province within the global Anglican Communion. This God-given autonomy allows us to finally run our own affairs and fully activate the vision burning in our hearts for a new South Sudan.
Our work is grounded in the confident hope of the Gospel and fueled by Christ’s love for all people. We believe that true peace and unity can only flow from the foot of the Cross. Therefore, we commit ourselves to preaching this message of hope and backing it with action—through ministry, education, healthcare, and the protection of the vulnerable.
